Jose L. Rivera, MD, FACEP
Emergency Medicine Board Certified
Dr. Jose L. Rivera grew up in Puerto Rico, where he completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Puerto Rico in 2011. After working for 2 years in different hospitals on the Island, he moved to Florida in 2013, where he served as an emergency physician for some of the top hospitals systems in the country; including HCA, Tenet and Broward Health. He is board-certified in emergency medicine and a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. On his free time, he enjoys playing sports, exercising, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Candice Rivera, MD
General Medicine
Dr. Candice Rivera graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2007. She then completed her internship in Puerto Rico in 2009, and continued to work as a General Physician in an emergency department until 2017. In 2018, she moved to Florida and has been working as a Primary Care Physician, specialized in managed care, since then. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising and doing outdoor activities. She is fluent in english and Spanish.
